All Killer No Filler is the first full album by Sum 41, released on May 8, 2001 (see 2001 in music). The album was eventually certified platinum, selling over 1 million copies in the first few months of its release.
The album features lyrics with various subjects such as society, laziness, self-indulgence, relationships etc. On an episode of MTV Cribs featuring drummer Steve Jocz's house, frontman and guitarist Deryck Whibley said that the majority of the songs for All Killer No Filler were written in Steve's basement. The title may be a reference to the Jerry Lee Lewis album All Killer, No Filler: The Anthology.
As of 2006 the album has sold 2 million copies in USA and is 3x platinum in Canada, and 3.5 million world wide.
This is the second time "Summer" appeared on a Sum 41 album, the first being Half Hour of Power. The band planned to put the song on each of their albums as a joke, but scrapped the plan after All Killer No Filler.
